On the 27th of May, we welcomed Keith from EDTips (Enabling Digital Technology in Primary Schools – TU Dublin) to the school for a workshop on technology, coding and the use of BBC micro: bits in the classroom. Because we were among the first schools to sign up for the workshop, we received a class kit of BBC micro: bits for the school! The pupils from both classrooms took part in the workshop.

On the 11th of May, we had a lovely morning on the shores of Lough Corrib, investigating the flora and fauna along the way.

We didn’t see as many mayflies as we expected, but there were lots of other interesting finds.
