In the Junior Room during Science Week the pupils had great fun.
They carried out an experiment to investigate how animals stay warm in the freezing polar regions.
They made cloud dough using conditioner and corn flour.
They also made butter using cream………. and a lot of hard work!

On Thursday March 10th, as part of Engineer’s Week, the pupils in the Senior Room will join Mark the Science Guy at the ‘Explorium Launch Pad’ for an exciting and explosive workshop live from the foothills of the Dublin mountains!

We watched Mark the Science Guy light his hand on fire! We will NOT be trying this at home (or at school)! But he did show us some other cool experiments that we can try out during the week!
For science week we are tuning in to Super Science with Mark the Science Guy via Zoom on Tuesday November the 9th!
Also, throughout the week, we will be conducting experiments along with Jane McLoughlin as part of Galway Science and Technology Festival 2021.
