On Tuesday the 13th of December we welcomed Adrian Mantu, Cellist with ConTempo String Quartet, into the Senior Room. He spoke to the children about music in general and about it’s history. He also introduced them to the cello and played some beautiful music. The workshop was organised by Galway Music Residency – it was a real treat.

On Monday the 12th of December Dessie from Drumadore came to the school and did a drumming class with the pupils in both the Junior Room and the Senior Room. Everyone had a brilliant time! What a great way to start off the week!
