Bhí damhsa, spórt agus ceol againn le linn Seachtain na Gaeilge. We had great fun throughout the fortnight! On both Mondays the senior children read books ‘as Gaeilge’ to the pupils from the junior room while on Tuesdays we played co-operative board games ‘trí Gaeilge’ and on Wednesdays everyone enjoyed playing cluichí clóis! To finish the fortnight on Thursday we held a tráth na gceist. Friday was a Lá Glas when everyone did their best to dress in green. It was also the day we held a raffle – throughout the two weeks pupils were rewarded with a raffle ticket for speaking as Gaeilge while the pupils in the Junior Room entertained us with the Haka Gaelach and the Seige of Ennis and the pupils in the Senior Room sang cúpla amhráin ‘as Gaeilge’. Bhí Seachtain na Gaeilge den scoth againn go léir!
