Book Fair.

We are hosting a Book Fair on Friday the 1st of December. Parents are welcome to visit the school throughout the day to buy books. The books will remain in the school until the 8th of December if pupils want to buy books next week. Please click here to see what titles will be available to buy at the Fair.

Cineáltas.

in November we received our Cineáltas flag from the Department of Education in acknowledgement of the good work that the school is doing to prevent and address bullying. It also acknowledges the work that is being done to promote kindness, respect, inclusion, diversity and wellbeing in the school.

It is the hope of Norma Foley TD that the Cineáltas flag will serve as a visible national symbol of our shared responsibility to be kind and to work together to prevent and address bullying.

Halloween Art Competitions.

Congratulations to Patrick in Senior Infants who won first prize in the Halloween Colouring Competition run by DNG.

A number of other children in the school were highly commended for their artistic skill. Well done everyone 👏.

Baboró 2023.

“It was the cats who noticed it first; the moon had spun round. And with a great and mischievous smile, the moon asked for a new dance for all.”

On Monday the 16th of October we attended a performance of ‘When the Moon Spun Round’ in the Black Box as part of the Baboró International Arts Festival for Children. It was a wonderful show that included aerial dance, music, song, story and fun!
